The Cisa 11921 Electric Nightlatch Rim Lock is part of the Cisa Electric nightlatch range.

This range of Electronically operated, solenoid activated nightlatches are extremely popular on residential front doors where an access control or door entry (intercom) system is employed to allow remote unlocking of the door set. They are seen particularly often on main entrances and communal entrances to buildings of multiple occupancy. This version is designed for both inward and outward opening metal doors and gates.

Electronic nightlatches can be released via an electronic Pulse. This pulse activates a solenoid which releases the Latch bolt, which then returns into the lock case under spring tension allowing the door to be opened. used in both commercial and residential settings, the locks can also be operated manually in much the same way as a standard nightlatch therefore providing a great solution for upgrading mechnical nightaltches with a similar electronic option.

The 11921 version offers an internal overide cylinder but no internal push release. this helps prevent unauthorised user reach around, through or over a gate and manually operating the release. An external Cisa rim cylinder is provided and 3 keys and a keep are supplied.
