These are bars that serve very specific purposes and, while not used on every locksmithing or door reinforcement job, can be very handy to have on hand. Each product notes whether it is suitable for a specific door type; for example, some bars are suitable only for wooden door frames. Most of these bars remain easy to install, with most fixed over the lock keep or fitted over the door locks’ strike plate and/or hinges. The aim is always the same: to add extra reinforcement and strength to the door against physical impact.
