ABT Replacement Latch Spring

This is an ABT Replacement Latch Spring and can be used to repair broken ABT Gibbons gearboxes. The latch spring is a part of the lock that frequently fails and can be replaced relatively cheaply and easily to avoid the need to replace the whole gearbox. ABT Gibbons locks are also sometimes known as St Helens, York or Basta and are often identified by their 47.5mm PZ measurement. You may find that this measurement is often rounded up or down by 0.5mm. The ABT Gibbons full length lock is now discontinued but replacement gearboxes are still available in either a snib or non snib version.
