Souber Composite Door Outside System Kit

The Souber Composite Door (Outside System) Kit is a specially designed kit for failed composite door locks where release is only possible from the outside and where the door opens into the property. The process involves creating an aperture in the frame from which to access the locking points and then cutting through them with a reciprocating blade. includes fitting repair plugs to cover the machined slot after successful opening.

Works on both wood and UPVC frames. Fire doors with wooden frames can be reinstated to original compliance using Envirograf Wood Filler (a wood filler syringe is included in the kit). Filler is not supplied. Any repaired fire door must be inspected and ‘passed’ to standard
by an approved inspector.

This kit requires the use of a 12-volt compact reciprocating saw; *Magi Blades® should only be used with one of the recommended machines (Bosch GSA 12V-14, Dewalt DCS312, Makita JR105DZ (12V), Makita DJR183 (18V), Milwaukee C12 HZ) with a 3Ah battery – fully charged – and ideally, a spare.
